Hello, I am looking to start a band. I know it seems a lot to ask but I would prefer female musicians, because of the sound I am going for. I need a bassist, drummer and maybe a second guitarist. I sing and play guitar, I write my own songs. I have about 15-20 songs some are in the works others need a complete band. I like older stuff, I am heavily into grunge and older styled metal, some punk, reggae, acoustic rock, and lots of others. My influences in my music are Nirvana, Clutch, Avenged Sevenfold, Jack off Jill, Violent Femmes, and too many others to list. Check out Seven Year Bitch and Jack off Jill the album Clear Hearts Grey Flowers, these are the closest to what I want to play. I have one song up on my myspace profile, it's myspace.com/ninaizix the name is Nurse. I have experience playing in two prior bands, I played bass for my friends band for a few months, and I had my own band for a couple years until I moved. I grew up around musicians and have lived the life of a musician. So I am in it for the long haul, and would like to start playing out after a few months of rehersals. If this sounds good to you hit me up! I'm not too picky, but I prefer 18 yrs of age so we can play anywhere, and too old, because of sound reasons. Thanks!
